MS do not let Titanfall or any Titanfall Sequel Appear on PS4!!!

So the PS4 supports 1080p on its console, I hear BF4 looks and plays better on the PS4...GHOSTS runs at 1080p vs the XONE 720p. The PS4 has more DDR RAM, and is already outselling the XONE by over a million units.

All these things considered the hardware is very similar, but unfortunately the PS4 is already off to the lead. The $100 price difference and the Kinects apparent ineptitude is really making the XONE out to be the inferior console.

SO...what's going to draw the line in the sand? THE GAMES...and the name of the game is EXCLUSIVES. To be honest I wished Ghosts on my XONE looked better than the PS4 version but it doesn't. I want to believe that BF4 is better on the XONE but I've been
told and seen comparisons, it's touted as looking and playing better on the PS4.

I owned a 360 in the last console generation and I enjoyed my Halo and Gears of War Exclusives BUT as much as it shames me to say. PS3 had better exclusives and WAY more variety.

I mean God of War, Uncharted, Last of Us, I still consider Uncharted 2 the best game I've ever seen. These games are going to reappear on the PS4 and it's only going to be a matter of time. What EXCLUSIVE do we have to look forward to? Halo and...what
else???

Where's Gears of War? Halo is going to take an eternity to be released...if PS4 is already running multi-platform launch titles better on their console. Could you imagine how much better their next generation PS4 multi-platform games will run as developers
get more accustomed to working with the hardware?

I read an article that stated that developers are already saying the PS4 is easier to develop for, whereas the 360 was considered easier to develop for than the PS3. Which probably helped the 360 eke-out the better running multi-platform titles. I mean
has anyone ever heard how bad Skyrim ran on the PS3? But now the shoe is on the other foot and we XONE owners might be the ones with the "inferior" ports.

WHICH brings me to my point Titanfall IS the next big thing, COD is getting stale and I've played every iteration since MW2 which is IMO the best COD to date. And who made that game, the better half of InfinityWard...

...RESPAWN...THE CREATORS OF TITANFALL, this game is the future...COD is the same game every year with new guns and maps, Halo has long been dethroned as the king of multiplayer battle mode, Battlefield is still taking a backseat to COD, Destiny will be
on every platform and probably STILL run better on PS4.

SO this is your chance Microsoft lock down the next great FPS since Gears of War is AWOL as of yet, and Halo 5 is miles down the road. Don't just spend this first year waiting for the great exclusives to come, dig into your deep pockets and make a deal
with RESPAWN and lockdown at least 3 sequels before PS4 owners ever see the light of day!

FORZA 5 is already the best driving simulator out, you should lockdown TITANFALL AS AN XONE EXCLUSIVE before SONY snatches a great exclusive and shows us yet again WHY THEIR CONSOLE RUNS GAMES BETTER!?!?!?

Microsoft should answer this for their fans TitanFall Exclusive.

I wonder how long PS4 players are gonna hold out hope for Titanfall on PS4. I don't see it for at least 4-5 years. They may get a sequel earlier than Titanfall if it sells well.

@24Hours I know. I'm just saying that Sony didn't offer what it took to run the first Titanfall making the sequel unlikely to me.

@Mighty Until something on the PS4 changes server side I don't see any Titanfall releasing on it. I think people severely underestimate MS offering free dedicated servers to every developer. I think that may cause more games down the line to be exclusive
to MS products too. Other Respawn games? Sure.

Microsoft, do not own either the Dev or the Pub. And with what EA said about not making exclusives for a long time for any platform. It will not happen. Sorry

I think Microsoft sold them a bit short really, EA were expecting the console to be Low Cost upon release, and with the way the last system sold. EA had every right to be looking at teaming up with MS. But MS went ahead and included the Kinect and that ramped
the price up, and then started making their policies, and again that knocked a lot of people off.

If they had just released a console without Kinect and stuck with the old way. I am sure they would have sold twice as many as they have. But that's speculation.

In the end, it's making money, and all companies want it, and they best way to do that is multi-plats

 

Titanfall "2" or whatever the next Titanfall game is, will be sold and made for EVERY platform. There is no doubt about that. Respawn is a company and they want their money. They did "lock in" with M$ for "Titanfall" (the name), but nothing after that, like
adding the "2" or whatever else.

 

Hairy...It's a shame because if they don't make it exclusive they're REALLY opening the door for PS4 to REALLY jump ahead with sales. I don't think Halo alone is enough to push XONE forward with having the better exclusive game library. Which I think is
what sets consoles apart nowadays, since they tend to have similar overall power thresholds, EXCLUDING WiiU...but that's another story.

Uneasy...Wasn't Bungie originally a private company like Respawn, and what about the makers of Gears of Wars. Didn't MS make a deal with them to keep them exclusive?

Why can't they strike up a deal with RESPAWN? I think Titanfall is packing serious clout and to have that game REMAIN Exclusive would REALLY garnish lots of appeal for the XONE. If they let this thing go multi-platform they're idiots.

 

^^I dunno for sure, but I would think Respawn cares about Respawn. Yes, they took the M$ "only" deal for the start of Titanfall (for some nice change of course and they are a new company) but in the end, Titanfalls sequels will be just like CoD and available
on every platform (which beneifts Respawn). That just makes sense to me. Again, I dunno for sure, but we will see next year or so and can pull this thread and reflect.

 

I don't know much about the gaming industry, but doesn't it take 3 or 4 years to make a game? Respawn seems to still be working on Titanfall, updates, dlc and what not. Won't it be like 5 years before this even matters, by which time MS will have a ton of
exclusive games and content and have worked all the kinks out of their system.

 

I am sure this will eventually go multi-platform. ANYTHING is possible these days. I see no problem with games going multiplatform at all. Be happy that we get some of the titles that used to be PS2 or PS3 only. Now they are on the 360.

The days of "exclusives" are LONG gone. In fact they should not even use the word exclusive anymore because it really means nothing.

 

@DusktilDave--I believe there will be a Titanfall 2 or something well before the 5 year mark, maybe even annually like CoDs or biannually like BFs.

 

MS is so desperate they made a Titanfall Xbox One bundle and bought Gears of War from Epic. MS knows they need exclusives since their Xbox One sales are not what they expected.

 

Don't forget that Titanfall uses the Azure Servers to run their game.

Sony's Gaikai network doesn't even come close to Azure.

If EA, want to publish the next game on another system, be it Mac or Android or PS, They will do what they normally do, and supply the servers themselves. Because in all companies eyes, money is money.

Microsoft would have to offer EA/Respawn more money than they would make on the other systems in total to make it appeal-able
