ms currency and eso plus

would anyone know why ms currency isn't able to be used for eso plus?...any information would be greatly appreciated

ESO Plus with Xbox Currency?

Is there a way i can use xbox currency to buy a month of ESO plus? I bought points but failed to notice that the only payment option is using a credit card.

No but you can buy eso plus prepaid time cards

 

With that it generally is that ESO isn't letting the currency be used to purchase it. Also all those types of subscriptions are set as auto-renewing and so having it tied to currency wouldn't work because it doesn't always have a balance.

It's weird that PS4 has a code you can buy at a retail store for 1 month at a time but xbox does not. Microsoft please fix this so we can buy ESO plus on the Xbox store or even a retail store without using a credit card on the store page. Thank you.

 

Pretty crappy if you ask me, since I don't use credit to do anything on my xbox... Always 12 month cards and buy MS cash when needed.

 

It's a subscription. Subscriptions require a CC or debit card with visa OR PayPal.

 

I just purchased a $60 card to use for the sub for 4 months. Oh well. Guess I am spending it in the crown store on useless junk lol

Since its a subscription, its the same reason why you cant use Ms currency for Gold and EA Access.

They want to have the option for automatic renewal, and that can only be guaranteed with PayPall or CC.
