MS collecting data for political ads on Xbox Live

You're also ignoring the fact that MS continues to sell 360 consoles which also benefit from Live subscriptions.

 

I have a 360 and a One. And my subscription rolled over with out having to buy a sub.

Looks like 3-1 here Lestat. Those are considered winning numbers. Sub sales had nothing to do with console sales.

Many people had 4 or 5 360s due to rrod or other failures or upgradong to slim etc

Nowhere near 80 millions left

 

3-1 wins? LOL! If that's how things works then the world would still be flat. Like I said, I really don't know why it's such a hard concept to understand. Less console sales = less potential LIVE sales. If people aren't buying MS consoles then they're not
going to buy LIVE either. It really is a pretty simple concept. Sorry some of you can't seem to grasp such basic things.

@kingvas78 Did you pay for those billboards? Did you pay to read something else on those billboards and they put those ads up too just to make extra money off of you even though they already charged you to view those billboards (and you didn't get any sort
of discounted fare, you paid full price)? If so, then you have a valid comparison.

@IcestormIII Privacy Statement be damned. I subscribed to Live because it is required for a major part of my XB1 functionality, not because I want political ads pushed at me. If MS thinks that by requiring said subscription service it entitles them to
do anything they want they are sadly mistaken. The first time I see one of these ads it will be the last time I use my XB1. It's not like there aren't other choices out there.

 

Well I am in to politics so I won't mind. It's better than ads for Fast Food.... LoL
