MP4's not working

Discus and support MP4's not working in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I did an update a while ago and MP4's were able to be played on my Xbox 360, however they've since stopped working.     MP4's not working


    I did an update a while ago and MP4's were able to be played on my Xbox 360, however they've since stopped working. I've tried updating everything through Xbox Live but can't seem to find anything that will fix it. It's coming up with error code 69-C00D36B4
    which from my understanding means that it's an unsupported file, however I have played the exact file (Band of brothers off my hard drive) before on the Xbox and haven't altered the file or the hard drive and yet it now won't work.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Greetings...

    Does the XB1 Media Player support MP4's ? It sees the WMV files on my Media Server, but not the MP4's.

    downloading MP4's onto Xbox One

    I have a collection of mp4's I was hoping to download to xbox one. So far as I can tell there is no way to do this. Is it possible to put my mp4's on an external drive then plug that into the xbox? Will it recognize my mp4's on the drive?

    These are a few of my questions about the new system.

    I've had the same problem and can't find any solution. Very frustrating!! It certainly was after an update last year. Have you had any luck since?

    Media Player Not showing MKV files.

    The windows media player only plays some files. I can't figure out why some are available and others are not. Its weird. Some mp4's work some don't. Same thing with avi. Mkv's don't work at all.
