    If its legal mp3 tracks then just use a USB FlashDrive if your reading device (iPod,Mp3 player,etc) wont let you. OR you can install music CDs directly to your HDD.

    Thanks. But it is formatted as media drive it is a wd 3.0 3.6tb with 3tb mp3 x264 full HD and some 720p also. A few movies do not play but if I put them on an ext ssd they play.. I use kodi. None 4k play on the hdd. On ssd they do as mp4. Mkv does not work

    Thinking of switching from PS3 to Xbox

    I'd go with the PS3 for anything Media related. I own both and I've never used my 360 for anything other than gaming. It's crap, you cant even copy MP3's from your portable mp3 player to the HDD via a USB, Pffff, rubbish..

    I would agree if the Xbox one couldn't use an external HDD, but it can, so the 500GB HDD was plenty to begin with. 1 TB xbox ones are also available right now.

    The WD HDD Book version is just as good as the passport, they both use WD HDD drives. Mine has run since the update and works perfect!
