    Moving Xbox while on


    Sorry for the double post.

    Is it safe to move an Xbox One X while its on? I realized the back end of the box was sitting on a wire so it wasn't sitting flat, and so I lifted the back end up, moved the wire, and set it back down. The box was on (I wasn't really thinking-should've
    waited until I had turned it off).

    Is this ok to do? Could I have damaged anything?

    My main point is while i'm moving whether it be moving while ADS, crouched, proned. It's not working. When it says it should be active while moving

    Thanks for the quick replies. Will this have any affect on moving my data onto a bigger hard drive while using the same Xbox?

    Try playing it. If everything still works, then it's fine. If you had a disc in the drive, it could have been damaged so test that.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

    The easiest way for you to verify what type of console you have is not only the color, but if your console has a power supply unit on the back of it.

    This power supply unit has a light that is usually white, but can be orange if the console is not configured to Instant-on. If your console is one that requires these, then it would indeed indicate it is one of the Original Xbox One, and these devices and
    its accessories are no longer created Microsoft.

    If this is the case, then creating a service order for this device would no longer be an option, and if the console is no longer working at an optimized state, then your only other option would be to upgrade the device.

    I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.
