    hi, i currently have an xbox account with all my game data and stuff but want to move all of the data to a new account. is this possible? i also want to do this without moving any other microsoft account data such as contacts and pictures. thanks.

    It is not possible to move data from one Microsoft Account to another, the main reasons, security and cheating.

    Happy to take a look at this with you, for starters have you successfully moved your save data from the Xbox 360 into the cloud to download on the Xbox One? Also are you using the same profile on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One? Here is a guide that will show
    you how to move the save data from the Xbox 360 into the cloud.
    Copy, move or delete Xbox saved games, profiles, and avatar items    .

    Make sure the save data is in the cloud and let us know how that goes!

    Data is tied to his console and his profile.

    Using a data transfer cable would overwrite everything on the target harddrive. To move content, you probably want to use a flashdrive configured for the xbox and move it over manually.
