Moving Xbox Account from old email to a new one

Unfortunately you cannot unlink accounts - what is recommended here is to make a third "dummy" account, and use it to move your profile as follows:

"Old" Email

"New" Email

"Dummy" Email.

Move your gamertag from "New" Email to "Dummy" Email. Then move your gamertag from "Old" Email to "New" Email. At this point you can then just trash Dummy email, and your new email will have your old gamertag

Thanks for the info. There is no way to move items from one account to another but they can be shared via the Home setting on the Xbox console. If your new email already has an account attached to it then I would recommend creating a separate email for the old account.

This is what I do. My Xbox email is completely separate from all others.

All you did was change what email address is used when signing into the accounts.

This did NOT move your xbox profile from Account A to Account B there is no way to do that.

What Did happen is that you Added a new email to sign in to account B made that new email the primary email removed the old email from that account and added that old email as an alias to Account A. It
did not move any microsoft currency gift cards, any subscriptions, any game purchases or anything like that over.

All subscriptions and xbox money is attached to the account itself.

If you were to sign into your Account B with the new email and the password I bet you would find that 25 dollars and the xbox live subscription still on it.

If I understood you wanna yse the Email from the new Xbox account on the old one. If yes you need to change the Email for the new one first to disconnect Email and Xbox account. Then you need to change the Email alias for your old Xbox account on account.xbox.com.
There you need to first add ne Email and then set it as primary alias for the account.
