Moving to China questions

As the title states, I will be moving to China soon and I have a few questions.

1. Can I use my Xbox gamertag/account?

2. If I can use my account, what about the games I purchased digitally? Specifically Destiny and Dark Souls. Will they work, or are they region locked?

3. Can I use my console that I bought in Canada in China?

Hi there, you might want to take a look at the following as it answers a lot of your questions;

support.xbox.com/.../change-region

You can use the Xbox you bought in Canada, but you would need to continue purchasing games from that region as I believe China has a different format to Canada, also I don't think DLC content will work if you purchase it on their network when having a Canadian
copy of the game.

Thanks for the link! I'm not too worried about buying new content as I only buy a game or two a year. I was thinking if my canadian xbox would connect to a chinese tv (the whole pal/ntsc) thing. I guess I will pack my xbox and see

Yeah definitely no harm in taking it to see and with the price of 360's so low these days you could most likely pick up a cheap one if it doesn't work out, but I'm not sure the region or format matters when connecting it to a TV, I could be wrong, but I
think all AV or HDMI is standard across the board and the NTSC and PAL format only comes into play with what content is compatible with it like downloadable content and physical game discs etc.

Are you asking for us to move your Xbox Live ID to the People's Republic of China? If so: Unfortunately, the People's Republic of China is not a supported Xbox Live region. Therefore, we cannot move your Xbox Live ID there for you. Sorry about that!
