Moving themes and avatars from xbox 360 to xbox one

Hi there

I've just begun life on xbox one.

My games etc came across with my profile fine

But i cannot find my movies, music, apps, themes (including background pictures) and avatar designs and purchases.

The list of what moves and does not isn't that helpful. I didn't even get to keep my profile picture.

Can someone please break it down so a simpleton like myself who has zero xbox one dashboard experience can get back some familiarity.

Unfortunately themes and gamerpics from the 360 do not work with the One.

Not all of the same apps are available, but you can redownload apps from the Xbox store. You'll want to download the Movies and TV app and you should be able to see your movies there.

If you'd like to continue using your Xbox 360 avatar, you might wish to visit the Xbox Store on your console and download an app called "Xbox Original Avatars." In that app, you'll be able to find your Xbox 360 avatar and the items you've previously purchased
for it.

There is an updated avatar system on the Xbox One, and if you wish to explore that, the app that you would want to look for is called "Xbox Avatar Editor." Just note that the clothing items and props from your 360-era avatar are not compatible with this
new avatar system and will not transfer.

Avatar Items are automatically transferred and you can see them when customizing your avatar. Themes and Gamer Pics from 360 cannot be used on Xbox One. The only way to keep to use a 360 gamer pic is to not select an Xbox One pic.

Create a USB Memory Unit on the USB flash drive. Put your profile, Avatar items, Themes, and game saves on the USB Memory Unit. Move the flash drive from 360 to 360.
