Moving Save Data From One Profile to Another....Sorta

I apologize if this is in the wrong place.

My daughter has been playing on my XBOX360 profile for a couple of years. She has her own, but she inevitably just uses mine most of the time. To be honest, it didn't really make a difference so I just let it be. However, I've decided to buy her an XBOX
of her own. She will of course create her own new profile on her XBOX so I need to know if there is a way to transfer the game save data from my profile on my XBOX to her profile on her XBOX. It's actually only ONE game save data that I need to transfer
over - Minecraft. I don't care about achievements or anything like that. The kid has created an entire world in that game and I would hate for her to have to start over on her new system.

Sorry but no,you can't merge profiles or move save data from one profile to another.

Content cannot be transferred from one profile to another.

But data ie, game saves and DLC can be transferred from one HDD to another via a data transfer cable, but will only work under the profile that it was downloaded into.

 

Sorry, but no. Nothing can be transferred between accounts.

 

That's a bummer. Just curious, why is that? I can understand account data, achievements, etc., but game save data seems pretty innocuous.

 

I have no idea why. I know of at least 1 game that allows that, but it's just not a feature that has ever been available.
