    Moving offline achievements to online


    Hi

    My son (<18 yrs) has an offline account with achievements. I have created him an online child account (tied to mine) and have downloaded his new gamertag (profile) to his new console. We have two child accounts now. Can I transfer his (offline) achievements
    etc to his new gamertag and then just remove his old account? I have a 1 month free Gold Live account and I think his new one is shown as Free, if it matters.

    Hey there! If you play offline, earn achievements, but then recover or move your profile before connecting to LIVE, those offline achievements are gone. There is nothing you can do to bring them back other than re-earning them.

    If you earn achievements offline, make sure to simply log into LIVE before moving or recovering.

    Advice needed...

    Hey there Funk! I understand you have some concerns about earning achievements while offline. As long as you sign back into LIVE with the same account without moving or downloading it, the achievements you earned offline should be counted without a problem.
    If for some reason you are unable to reconnect to LIVE without first moving or downloading the profile, any achievements earned while offline will be lost. I hope this information helps; please let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

    So of course youre on the xbox 360, what you must do is sign into the account that has the achievements and than hit an option that says sign up for gold should be able to register a email and password for the account and should be able to use the same account
    with the achievements.

    If you created a new account instead of promoting his offline account, no, you can not move the achievements to the new account.

    I've been playing offline and still unlocking achievements.

    The only difference between unlocking achievements offline and online is that achievements unlocked when offline are not date stamped.
