    Moving my gamer tag to my sons


    I added my child to my family account so I could control his time. He had always used my profile in the past so when I set up his account none of that transferred obviously so all of his games and achievements are still on mine. Can I transfer my gamer tag
    to him or what are the options does he just lose everything if I want to use the parental settings? Thanks for the help!

    If it's telling you that, you should get in touch with Phone Support. They should be able to assist you on this matter. Moving my gamer tag to my sons :)

    can someone please help me move my sons gamer tag to his own email address. I don't want him using my email anymore and he doesn't want to lose his stuff. It keeps telling me cant switch at this time.

    What you can do, is change the associated login email so it can be under his and not yours...but then you won't have control over it. He will have to start over (if he uses a child account) on game saves etc but he can access the same games and Xbox Live

    xbox one s profiles (family (adult-who occassional plays and 2 children who play)

    Hi.

    So the gamer tag associated with my email (the adult) is there to stay or can I delete that gamer tag and create my own? Then I could create a new profile for son #1 and a new gamer tag.

    I have figured out/created a new profile and gamer tag for son #2.

    So I would like to:

    change the gamer tag that is connected to my email account (the adult).

    If possible I would like to keep my son's gamer tag and just move it to the email account/profile I created for him... (I'm pretty sure you said I couldn't do this but just checking?

    Is there anyway to limit playing time when child is playing using my account

    To clarify, I have set up a windows live account for my son ,and that is the account I want to move his gamer tag to.

    He would have to go to account.live.com

    sign in with the email and password he would on the xbox console

    then change the account alias to his (he'd have to verify it then make it primary)

    then he can remove your email
