    Moving Minecraft worlds between profiles


    Is there an Xbox Live legal way to move Minecraft worlds between profiles so if one was started on profile A it could be finished on profile B? This is on the same console. Thanks.

    Content can not be transferred between profiles

    I had this huge minecraft castle world on an profile that didn't have Xbox live, and I wanted to transfer it to my gold account so I can play with friends, and it wouldn't let me transfer it between profiles. I had deleted the profile, but not the items.
    When I go see the world save in storage, it says unknown profile. When I try to move it to my gold account, it says content can not be transfered between profiles. This has been happening or a while now.

    Sorry but a Minecraft world is still a game save and as such cannot be transferred between profiles. However, if your console is connected to an HD TV then you should be able to play multiplayer with both profiles.

    Oh, OK, that's bad news. The account it was on has been banned so workaround not an option. The person has spent a year working on a massive world so is a bit upset he's lost it all. OK. Thanks for the reply though.

    nothing can be moved between profiles but you CAN make an off line profile an online one but no you cannot move anything between accounts sorry.

    Unfortunately, you cannot. A game has to specifically allow for a save to be transferrable between profiles. Even then, a transferred save cannot be used to earn achievements. The only game save that I've ever seen which could be transferred was one of the
    Lego games (Star Wars, I think). While I'm sure there are others, most don't support the feature.
