Moving installed games.

Hello all,

I apologise if this has been asked already but I have searched everywhere and can't find any specific info on it.

Is it possible to copy installed games from an original Xbox to an Xbox 360 ?

Some of the original disks are lost and I don't want to lose the games.

Battlefield 4 Not Installing?

So Every other game has installed fine, but BF4 doesnt seem to be moving from 0% , even at all. Is this happening to everyone?

Installing To HDD

I have the 250 as well and have about 10 games installed. Every game I play on a regular basis is installed. Like everyone else has said, it runs quieter, less parts moving all the time. I feel some games run better as well.

You did not install games on the original Xbox as it only had an 8GB HDD which was mainly used for game saves, every game was played straight from the disc.

Thank you. You are quite correct. I see the saved games, which is what I now want. Now chasing info on copying said saved games to the Xbox 360. So far I can't get the old Xbox to recognise a 1TB USB drive. Even after formatting it on the 360.

Games update on the drive they're installed on. You'll have the option to move games between the internal HDD and external HDDs. By default, moving a game moves all of its associated files.

It should be possible, I transferred all my installed games from internal to external drive.

When you go to the details of installed game, there should be option to copy or move games. Move is what you want to do.

Unfortunately you have to do it for each game separately, although you can queue them for move.
