Moving games from one tag (email) to another

I understand you need help with changing your email or moving your Xbox account to another email.

Just a heads up, you can only change the email for as long as the email you want to change it to does not have an Xbox or Microsoft account yet.

There is no option to transfer the Xbox account to another Microsoft account but instead, you may remove your old email there and replace it with a new email that does not have a Microsoft account yet.

select Family and Online Safety as the category
select I Want to Protect My Account as the topic
scroll to the bottom of the options and select Chat Online or Request a Call
then explain the situation when you get through.

This does not help me. It wont let me add my hotmail address as an alias.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Unfortunately, it is impossible to move gamer tag from one account to another. However, if the account you want to move it to, does not have a gamer tag then you can

change the primary email on the one you want to move with the other email.
