moving games from internal to external

Discus and support moving games from internal to external in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I am trying to move games from internal to external storage.     I am trying to move games from internal to external storage. I went through the steps but the games are in the queue and not moving. they are at 0% and don't seem to be doing anything. I did select move all and not copy.

    How does Copying (not moving) games to en external Hard drive work?

    Once you copy from internal to external, the internal one will disappear after the process is done. So you are basically just moving it from one to the other. After you move all your games to the external drive. There will be a tab above your games that
    lets you choose internal/external "source". If you choose internal it will show empty if you have moved all your games to the external.

    Question about external storage

    Am I right in assuming that once we get support for it.. it would be as easy as opening a file... moving a game from internal to external to make room .. then moving one game from external to internal...to play.. same as we would with a flash drive/memory
    card on a pc?

    I know we will not be able to play direct from the external... that is a given..

    are the games installed on an external drive or the internal one, if on an external then move to internal and try again, if on internal then move to external and try again, to see if its a drive issue, if thats possible that is.

    can move some of them to the external hard drive. Once the internal hard drive has some extra space, we suggest moving some of the games from the external hard drive to the internal. Check to see if those games require any updates. Be sure to let us know the

    Are you using a external hard drive at all?. Sometimes it adds both internal and external to do things like that you can just move games from internal to external and vise versa by going into my games and apps select the game you want to move press the menu
    button (the one above the right thumb stick and next to the X button) and go to manage game & add-ons then move it to internal or external to free up some space without removing any games :D Hope that helps.

    If you have an xbox external harddrive try moving it from your external to internal or the otherway around. If that fails try reinstalling the game
