Moving Gamer info to a new ID?

I have 2 sons that play games, and have each invested a lot of time in those games.

1 plays Overwatch, the other plays Fortnite.

Because we had 1 Xbox, they played on the same gamertag.

Now, they are getting their own consoles for their rooms. The problem being, they cannot both be logged into that GamerTag at the same time.

Neither wants to give up their time, reputation (and with Fortnite, money spent).

Is it possible to move either character to a different gamertag?

    :)

moving gamer info and gold membership to new account.

Go to Settings -> Account -> Account Security on your console and select Change Microsoft Account.

moving gamer info and gold membership to new account.

Surely that would just change the account and not not transfer my stuff?

Unfortunately, it is not. This is the hazard of letting people use a single gamertag. Each user on Xbox One should have their own Microsoft account, so they have their own game saves and online presence.

    Hello!

The only thing that could be done is creating another account for one of them and then doing game sharing to give them access to any digital games on the other account. Everything else would stay with the original account.
