Moving game saves

Hi, Need help moving an Xbox 360 game save to the Xbox One. My game save transferred flawlessly, but when I went to move my wife's, that's when my nightmare began. Her account is offline, never felt the need for 2 Gold accounts until now. This is where it
gets complicated. She actually was somehow able to create 2 identical gamer tags but only one has the Borderlands 2 level 72 siren we want to transfer over. I was able to make one of her accounts into a Gold account but unfortunately it was the wrong one.
I'm not able to log into the other offline account & can't even figure out what e-mail address it's under.

If no solutions are available due to the stupid cloud requirement perhaps I'll start a support group for others like my wife who have lost their beloved game saves.

Microsoft YOU are ripping family's apart. We are no longer able to frag together & continue our quest to OP level 8 & the greatness it surely would have brought. We made it to OP Level 5 only to be defeated not by a boss but by Microsoft.

Microsoft PLEASE allow us to move our game saves via a USB Flash Drive and restore our family!

In addition to what Piztup has posted, you can also " Move " your temp. account to the USB drive along with your girlfriends Gamer Tag and game saves and continue where you both left off.

( You would of course have to " Copy " both profile's games saves to the USB drive to do this )

Hi All,

I wonder if any can provide an answer for me. Me and my girlfriend have been playing Borderlands together round hers but we want to continue to play it round mine, is there a way we can play the game on my xbox? We have used her live account and i created
a temp account on her xbox to be able to play the game.

Call xbox support at 1-800-469-9269 & they may be able to help with fixing the gamertag issue. The only way to transfer 360 game saves to xbox one is through the cloud but ONLY if the 360 game is backwards compatible.

On xbox One you don't need more than One gold account. if one person is already gold, they just have to have their account on the xbox one and all other accounts made or moved to the xbox one can use all the gold benefits. You can even play online against
each other.

Hey there, MaSSterBlaSSter! For the Borderlands games, you will need to upload those through gearbox's upload in game, not through our cloud storage for the 360. The steps are listed

here, but I've provided them below.

Ensure all versions of the games are up to date with the latest patch (old-gen and new-gen) and you are connected to Xbox Live.

From the main menu of the Xbox 360 versions of BL2 or BL:TPS, choose the “Cloud Save” (Xbox consoles), then “Upload Save” function.

Once the save has been uploaded, choose “Cross Save” or “Cloud Save” then “Download Save” from the main menu of the Xbox One Handsome Collection game for which you’re downloading the save.

If you continue to have issues with uploading through Borderland's menu, you will want to
reach out to Gearbox for further support. Thanks!

Ok, if you created a temp account, the progress you gained whilst using that account is pointless. You cannot transfer the save for that account to yours.

You can however, transfer her account, and save game to a USB drive, once the 360 has configured it for use, to use on your xbox.

Just means you will have to start the game again, get her to join you, and run through the bit you have done again.

Moving to the Cloud

When you start a new game, you’ll usually see a prompt asking where you want to save your game. You can now select “cloud saved games” as the storage device. After that, every time you sign in to your
profile and play the game, it will be saved to the cloud.

If you want to store an existing saved game to the cloud, you can simply move it. Do the following:

Sign in to your profile

Go to “settings.” ”system,” then “storage”

Select the storage device that holds the saved game you want to move

Choose “games” to select the one with your save

“Move”

Select “cloud saved games”
