    Moving from Xbox 360 to Xbox Series X HELP PLEASE


    I need to move my and my families saved data to my new Series X. From what I understand there is no way to do this via external thumb drive..which most saves are located. I did get a Gold membership to enable Cloud storage on the 360 and managed to one
    by one copy or move my saved data to the cloud. I cant however move my other family members data that way..it only gives me the option to "Take ownership ??" and move it to HD or EXT HD. The Cloud storage does not show even if I sign on as them either. I just
    want to transfer everything over so we can continue our games and still have all of our achievements and game progress intact on the Series X. All I can find is info on moving from an Xbox One X to Series X which does not help.

    Also..how do I get the Cloud storage to show in the Series X storage options? It only shows the internal and my external SSD drive.

    Welcome to Xbox Forums. We appreciate for sharing your concern with us and we hope that you are doing well today other than this account issue.

    We are not so sure if what you about using the Memory Unit Adapter to transfer data from Xbox 360 to Xbox 360 Slim. However, you can store or move up to 512 MB of content using the Xbox 360 memory unit (original Xbox 360 console only).

    You can also transfer your data from Xbox 360 to Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S when you set up your new console and connect it to the Xbox network. Certain information from your Xbox 360 automatically becomes available on your Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S.

    While using a Xbox 360 hard drive transfer cable can you transfer the hard drive content from an Xbox 360 to the newer Xbox One

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox Communities Forum. The Xbox 360 hard drive transfer cable cannot be used to transfer data from an Xbox 360 to Xbox One.

    To move your data from Xbox 360 to Xbox One, all you need to do is sign in to your new Xbox One with your Microsoft account. When you do this, everything listed in the "What moves to Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S" section below is transferred to your new console.

    If you are moving from an Xbox One to a Series X or S console, then your game can still be played on the Series console. If you are moving from the Xbox 360, then you will need to purchase Minecraft again for your new Xbox. As Belle_696 stated, your refund would not be given, as it is over a year since you played it.

    Transfer of DLC and licenses from Xbox 360 to Xbox Series X

    The short answer is yes, you need to transfer the licenses from your Xbox 360 to your Xbox Series X in order to access downloaded content (DLC) for your Xbox 360 games.

    To transfer licenses, follow these steps:

    Sign in to your Microsoft account on your Xbox Series X.

    Go to "Settings" > "System" > "Licenses".
    Select "Transfer licenses to this console."
    Follow the instructions on the screen.

    This process will transfer all your Xbox 360 game licenses to your Xbox Series X.

    Once you've transferred your licenses, you'll be able to access DLC for your Xbox 360 games on your Xbox Series X.

    If you are having trouble transferring licenses, you can try the following:

    Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
    Sign out and sign back in to your Microsoft account on your Xbox Series X.
