    I'm moving form the US to Germany and I need to figure out where and what type of power brick I'll need to replace. I'm aware that the XboxOne is universal and can be up scaled to their 230 Volts. I just need to know what type of power brick I would need
    to replace my current US 120 Volt brick. I've looked online and only found very loud noisy power bricks that break within a few months. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Not that this should matter, but this is a 1st version launch XboxOne.

    Hi,



    I am moving to Germany from the UK and not sure if I need to change anything on my xbox live account. Do I need to notify MS about the move or will my console just work in Germany as it did in the UK? I'm sure it's a good idea to get a German xbox 360 power
    brick because of the voltage difference, but where would I get one from?

    US Xbox with a European power supply

    Hi! I'm moving to Germany from the US, and I want to bring my (US) Xbox 360 slim with me. I know there is a voltage difference, 110v being the US voltage and 220-230v being the European/German voltage, so I'll need a new power supply. My question for anyone
    who knows or has experience with this is whether I need to get a power supply that's compatible with BOTH 110v and 220v, or can I just get the 220v power supply once I'm in Germany (where they are ample)? Microsoft doesn't sell the dual voltage power supplies
    anymore (I called and asked), which is why I ask.

    Alternatively, does anyone know whether I can just take my 110v power supply and use it with a transformer in Germany?

    Like you said, it would be wise to purchase another power cord one from Germany as suggest in the link below.

    Germany - (230V @ 50Hz )

    UK - (230V @ 50Hz, fitted with a 10-amp fuse )

    Europe uses 220v power, that is what the xbox you purchased is used for. There is a big reason why an adapter wont make the power magically jump up to 220 from 110. You can run your own line from the breaker box and create your own 220 outlet, I did that
    when I moved back from Germany.



    Next time you make a large purchase like this abroad you need to check the actual specs on it. Most computers have a switch to go from 220-110 but that is one of the rare types of electronics with that feature.
