Moving from UK to US, how do I get a US power brick for my X1?

Once you move to the US, you will want to contact Xbox Customer Support and they will be able to place an order for you for the US spec power supply

You could try contacting UK support to see what they suggest. However, I can't be sure but there may be power issues with the console itself and not just the power brick.

Be sure to ask about power differences using a brick from the UK as opposed to a brick from the US.

Icestorm, you said it better then I did. but that is what I with what you said to your answer to the first question. I know there is no universal power supply (power brick) but we did use the same brick for all consoles. What I mean to say is we used a NTSC
power brick, With PAL, NTSC-J and DEV consoles. We did use 2 different bricks though, But one was for new generation of 360 and the other was for older consoles, But they were both NTSC bricks

Which is why I said, We used the same brick....do you think I traveled around the world using the same power brick in a for example UK outlet....now that would be insane and I would fry the brick. but if you were to use a UK power brick to power a US console
there would be no problem...as the UK power supply converts 210 or whatever down or up or whatever.

I have had to disconnect the external power brick and power cord, after 5 minutes, hold the power on/off button down for a count of 60 several times each month just to keep games from crashing to dash. Been doing that trick since the console was new. (Old
style X1) and the trick works.

Got a brand New X1-S given to us as a gift and it to will crash to dash during gameplay, but far less frequent than mine. Thing is, the power brick is internal. So how exactly do you. "literally disconnect the power brick and the power cord."?

brick varies, but the DC output to the consoles is the same.

Heh, no, if you plug a JPN power brick into Irish mains power, you'll at best blow the fuse in the brick. At worst, you'll blow up the power brick.

My
friend on live has a JPN 360 and uses his cables from his uk 360.

The AV port, HDMI port, Ethernet, USB, Kinect, and optical ports are not region-specific. Doesn't matter what region those cables are from. It's the power brick and the cable from the
brick to the wall that are region-specific.
