    Hi guys,

    Im moving to New Zealand from the UK and want to bring my xbox one with me. Im just wondering if it will work because i know there are different voltages between the countries and don't want to be weighed down with unnecessary weight. Any info anybody has
    would be much appreciated

    My suggestion is if you're going to live there for a while and plan on still being a gamer, is to buy a new Xbox 360, a New Zealand Xbox 360, to be exact. That way you won't have region restrictions and stuff. You can also call Xbox Support and have them
    migrate your account to New Zealand, so you won't be region locked and etc. It sounds expensive, and it is too, but this is the best way to avoid future issues with playing games and etc whilst you're living in New Zealand.

    If there was something placed over the power pack then yes that would cause it to overheat and possibly burn out. I also believe the voltages are different in the USA and New Zealand so that wouldn't help either. It looks like you need to buy a new power
    pack that is usable in New Zealand and hope that it didn't also damage the console, if you could borrow a power pack from someone that you know works with the voltage in New Zealand to try first that would enable you to confirm that the console is still working.
