Moving from the US to the UK.

We have moved back to the UK from the US and have brought an XBox One and XBox 360 back with us that we bought out there. Will we need step down transformers/convertors in order to play on them? If so, what size would we need? Many thanks in advance.

i highly suggest you buy the local power supply. The Xbox one power supply is universal so all you need is the plug. Voltage converters outside of stupidly expensive ones aren’t designed to handle more than a laptop

US games will not work on UK consoles, unless the games are region-free. But you will still be able to use your US gamertag, but you won't be able to buy region-locked content.

You can buy a UK power supply over the phone, if you call Xbox Support.

If you're meaning a power converter for an OG Xbox One, you can buy a UK powerbrick for it and as for an Xbox S/X you just need to buy a UK power cord for them as they seem to handle different voltages.

I came across a thread from 2018 on these forums with someone asking a similar question.

Aparently the Xbox one is region free for the games but for the Xbox 360 they are region locked but a few games made for it are region free.

I would imagine most tvs in the UK would be able to play NTSC games as I had a Sony crt tv years ago and it could handle NTSC games.
