Moving from Fifa 360 legacy edition to an Xbox one

Hi my son has xbox 360 and got the fifa 18 legacy edition for Christmas. However, I think we need to get him an Xbox one. Does anyone know if the team and squad he has built on the 360 would be available to him when he first launches fifa 18 on an Xbox one?

Purchased Xbox 360 game, but it says download on Xbox One.

Ok from what I see EA's website is directing users to the Xbox One edition from their website advertising the legacy edition. You're going to need to contact billing support to request a refund for this game.

From what I understand, the two platforms are separate and so your son would have to start again with a new team. This reply on the EA Forums (https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Transfer-Ultimate-Team-FIFA-17-from-Xbox-360-to-Xbox-On...)
whilst for FIFA 17 suggests that a transfer is not something they can do.

Because I have xbox 360 fifa19 and is also PAL but it can play on the console so I wonder why the PES2018 can't be played .

Just that the fifa is legacy edition and the PES is premium edition
