Moving files? Is it possible to move files between storage??

So I've played game many times and I've recorded them as well. I discovered I can only record upto 10 min worth, not a problem. After recording, I'm guessing they automatically upload to my Xbox profile online, so does the file NOT save to my Xbox Internal HD? Where?

Furthermore, if I plug in an external HD to Xbox, is it not possible to move those files (game recording clips, NOT the game or the saved files of game) which were pre-recorded before I started using External HD??

After realizing I could use the external drive for media storage, although I already played, recorded 100s of game play thru, all saved on the Xbox Network, it seems I can't transfer those files to my External HD plugged into Xbox??

I may have found my solution however... I can just access my Xbox profile from my computer, DL the files from the Xbox Network to my cpu, which is great when I can get my laptop on the internet.

My home internet is lackluster, mediocre. WiFi just sucks. So when I'm home, I can't seem to get them to computer through internet.

I than discovered, I can access my Xbox profile, and my files, through my phone?? Nice!! After I downloaded the Xbox app on my phone, I logged in, found my storage, and my files.

I choose to DL 6 or so, selecting all separately, but each showing DL status as I selected SAVE. So than I went on to the next one. After choosing all 6, I noticed NONE finished DL???

So do I have to WAIT on each file individually, for it to finish DL (To phone?)? Does it not allow for mass Download? I couldn't select more than 1 at a time, and if I left each file, to select another, it seems as if the DL status cancelled??

I have many files, and trying to get them to my computer for editing and video production (of my own), and I'm trying to find the easiest way to transfer them.

+external storage doesn't work when plugged in, seems there no way from uploaded network to storage, even when plugged in!!

+DLg to computer from network is questionable, as my internet seems unreliable.

+DLg from network to phone, is a struggle, unable to find a way to DL mass quantities from Xbox Network to Phone??

Now that I found I can have files saved to External as I play, I will be doing so here on out, and transferring to computer will be easier.

But that doesn't help my past saved files which are sti available in network, to transfer over??
