Moving digital content from one account to the other

I am going to delete my old outlook but i have digital content tied to the account so i want to tie it to my new one so i dont loose it so please i need this done in some way

You can't move content from one account to another

 

Unfortunately there is not anyway to do this once content is purchased on an account it is permanently attached to that account.

If you are wanting to change the email address associated with the account you can but it can not be an email that is already attached to another MS account. Here is a support link on how to change the email address associated with a MS account.

Keep in mind since you said that your current email is an outlook account if you do add another alias to your account and then remove the outlook account that outlook email will be GONE FOREVER and not be able to get it back so if you still want to use that
outlook email DO NOT remove it from your account. You can still add another email to the account as an alias and use it to sign in with and keep the outlook email on there at the same time but IF you REMOVE the outlook email from the account again it will
be GONE FOREVER.

Im sorry to say that i am not impressed with this why cant there be a way to do this its such a simple thing and im pretty sure the allowed you to do this before.....look i know your just an ambassador not the higher ups with the suits but this is pretty
excuse me for saying this...DuMb and again im not blameing you its just really unfortunate because i dont like having more then one email and i moved all my other accounts to the new email but unfortunately im going to delete the email either way and its not
that big of a deal because i have alot of these games on other platforms but its just the idea of it you know and its just plain anti consumer and im sorry to say that i will keep fighting for this i bought over $400 worth of games and dlc and i am not gonna
have it tied some account on the side

 

Hi there,

The option to move digital content between accounts has never been an option on the Live service and I've been on Live since the OG Xbox days.

If you make your console the purchasing account's home console you will be able to access the games. If you change consoles though, you will need to log the account in and do it to the new console.



You can always to post feedback and suggestions at Xbox Ideas, powered by UserVoice so the right people see it.
