    Moving data from USB to PC and back


    Hello

    Firstly i want to apologise for my bad English. That's not my first language and I'm trying my best.

    So let me get to the problem.I've propably done a really stupid thing. I had to use a usb memory to transfer some data from PC to PC but only available one was the one i used as a storage of my game files in my console. I pluged usb memory to PC, copied
    all data from USB to my PC's HDD and deleted data from USB. When my USB memory was ready to be storage of my Xbox data again I found out that files I copied as backup wasn't working on my console. After I put files back on the pendrive Xbox doesn't recognize
    my profile and save data. It sees Pendrive as a unrecognized storage device and asks me if I want it to be formated.I figured that what I first thought as a well made backup was in fact a terrible mistake.

    Is there a way to make my profile and save data useful again from files I copied to my HDD? Please help.

    URGENT: Flash Drive not reading anymore, lost Skyrim and New Vegas

    I'm afraid to say that your data is gone, once unconfigured there is no way to get it back. You could try copying the data from your USB stick to your PC, reconfiguring the drive on the xbox and then moving the data back on but the chances of that working
    are slim to none.

    USB Help, and NOT Deleting my Data ~ and Moving data without erasing it **

    sup guys, i been wanting to save my game data/gamer profile ect to a USB (just in case my S 360 was to ever break)

    how do i go about coping my data on my s360 to my USB? some people have told me that Moving ANY data to a USB will actually DELETE your data on your s360 when moving data from s360 -> to USB.



    is there a way i can keep my data on my s360 AND my USB, do i Move the file? or do i Copy the file? i don't know..

    and another question is if i my s360 did break and i wanted to put the data on my new s360 how can i do it? because i need to delete all my data on my USB to config it.



    any help is great guys Moving data from USB to PC and back :) i just want my data on a USB to have as back up. but still want my data on my s360 and i need someone to gtell me so i dont *** myself and end up erasing my data

    Moving data from USB to PC and back

    Xbox files are not meant to be seen by the PC or moved between the two. There would be no legit way to move the files back to your Xbox.

    Profile keeps corrupting..

    Hey there Bubble! It sounds like your issues are stemming from the USB device. Please move all data to the console HDD and then reformat the USB device on a PC to FAT32 formatting. Then bring it back to the console and set it up again. Recover your profile
    to the USB device and try again. Does this alleviate your issues?

    The system no longer sees the files as being the same since they were moved to a PC and then moved back. It's a feature to keep people from modding their profile/Xbox data.

    after that, copy the file from usb to your pc and then move the file back to your x-box..that should do the trick.
