Moving data from old account to a new account

I have an account that I play on and share with my son, he’s almost 13 and I was thinking I’d make him his own account with his own email and gamer tag, anyways is there a way to get all his game saves and dlc from his games to the new account?

You can share Xbox Live, digital games and DLC, but the game saves can not be shared between accounts.

I have simmilair issues moved from Canada to US (but I have years of xbox live use, had with xbox)

Do you mean all the content gets moved to new account or you have to change sign in to use old data?

maybe move the account back to the old xbox and change it from there and then move it back to the new xbox
