Moving data from adult to child

When my son first got his Xbox, he logged into my account and just played. I didn't understand what I was doing per se and I now want to create a child account for him to limit hours he can play as school is starting. Can I create an account for him
without losing any data/info/purchases that's he's acquired or is there a method of transferring?

Parent account

Changing the age under your profile data cannot change your xbox account from child to adult. If you have registered an account under 18+ of age in xbox live service that is a child account

Parental Controls - Approving Friend Requests

There are three accounts in total, two adult, one child. The info I gave previously was from my adult account.

I'm just checking his child and our adult statuses.

My account is Adult and his is Custom (Child setting interfered with his gaming).

Unfortunately no. Nothing can be transferred between accounts so if you create a new account for him he would have to start over.

Progress and in game transaction are account specific but some games purchased can be shared via the Home Xbox feature.

You cannot move from an adult account back down to a child account.

How old are you? If you are under 18 then you cannot be moved to an adult status. Also, you cannot be moved from adult to child status.

They should be able to change your permissions from here.

Unfortunately Xbox Support can not migrate an EA Access subscription, but they can move the gold subscription to another account for you by canceling it, sending you the gold membership as a redeem token, then just sign into the account you want to redeem
it on, then redeem it. The reason why they can't move the EA access subscription is because it a third party subscription. It also depends on the length of the subscription as well. So you will have to go ahead and reach out to Xbox Official support at
support.xbox.com/contact-us for this. You can also link the agent to this thread if you choose the chat option.

As for purchasing restrictions, yes that is possible. Check out the passkey benefits on Xbox One here:
