Moving A Full Game Code From One Account To Another (Trade in, gift, etc.)

I have seen plenty posted on all the bells and whistles of the new gaming systems. The ability to play at friends houses as long as I am signed in. Even going so far as to make a 'friend's" xbox one my home system so that it reads as being on there for anyone
there to play.

What I have yet to see is ANYTHING on trading in digital download codes. That or moving them from one account to another, or gifting them to someone else.

Example: I play a digital "retail" version of a game. I complete said game. I no longer have any use for it; other than to have friends play on my system, or making "their" Xbox my "home" Xbox, and them playing the game as if it were their own ON THAT CONSOLE.

So the question is (more specifically,) how do I go about "gifting" a digital downloaded game to a friend/relative/co-worker/etc.?

I have run myself insane going through all the forum entries on the basics, and "how to" threads for new users. Nothing of which I have run across that mentions anything about the digital (download codes) for full retail games.

Can someone direct me to; or walk me through the procedure on how this is accomplished? (Trade in, gifting, et al.)

Xbox scammed me

It's no scam. When you redeem a code onto an account, it ties the value of that code onto that account.

So the $50 is tied to the account that redeemed the code on and you'll have access to the funds on that account.

Xbox Support can't refund or transfer funds or licenses from one account to another.

Options -

Download that profile/account to your Xbox One and sign into that account and if you're trying to buy a game, you can buy a game as a "gift" and send that gift to your other account.
