Movies & TV App stuck in Update Queue. Daily 450MB "It's time to update."

For awhile now, everyday I wake up to 9 notifications that Movies & TV has failed to update. I don't use it so I never took the time to fix it. Now, however, I've started getting a "It's time to update." message. I am on the Preview Program and I do have
the latest experience. The version number doesn't change on my software. I'm not sure what its doing. I'm not out of space as everything is on an external 1TB drive and that's my default. Anyone else seeing anything like this? I've tried deleting Movies
& TV... but I'm almost to the point of resetting my Xbox.

[BUG] if Movies & TV app has an update, casting fails until reboot

If the Movies & TV app has an update and you tried to do "Cast to device -> Xbox One" from Windows not only will the cast fail but the Movies & TV app cannot be opened until the system is shut
down.

Attempting to open the Movies & TV app on the xbox will simple create the icon click noise and the app fails to open.

After restarting the xbox, launching the Movies & TV app, applying the update, then casting will continue to work as normal.

This has occurred that last 3 times there has been an update to the Movies & TV app

Xbox One Need tech support

I can play movies I have bought pre preview update. Went to the Store, and downloading the movies & TV . I guess this is a different app than the app movies and TV?

Since you're part of the preview program you get updates Very frequently. It is possible that One of them might Have messed up Your movies and TV app. You can Always. reset your system to the factory Defaults, Make sure you select the option to keep games
and apps on the hard drive So you don't have to re download them All again. Worse comes to worse that should fix it.

Yes, i was Beta Ring. Had an update this morning for around 450mb. Will not go beyond 25% verifying.

Didnt want to factory reset like i said so i reset it but kept my games and apps (in hindsight wish i wouldve just factory reset and wiped it all). But now im stuck trying to do set up but it needs that same update to even set up now.

None of these solutions are for my actual problem, it's not a connection issue of any kind, it's not just a slow progress bar, I'm not even getting the progress bar.

The 3 apps I'm having these issues with are Hulu, Store app, and Movies and TV app

Adding these to the queue does just that, and that's about it, it's not on pause, it doesn't actually ever start the updating process.....

Uninstalling leads to the same result.

Sorry for the double post, but update, it seems alot of my download queue cleared itself up after I unplugged and replugged in my external hard drive. However I am updating an app that is still stuck.
