Movies & tv app on Xbox series x

I'm having the exact same issue on the Xbox One X but with the Movies and TV app

I've been having the exactl same issue for months series x and lg cx , yet have no issues with my ps5 on the same TV , someone needs to patch something somewhere I had no issues with my xbox one x either , I also get an invalid format screen a lot when using the xbox TV and movie app its all unacceptable and annoying.

• Is the issue happened to a specific movie or multiple movies?
  

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the Movies & TV app on your console. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

• Check your internet connection: Make sure your Xbox Series X is connected to the internet and that your connection is stable. You can test your connection by going to Settings > Network > Network settings.
  
• Clear the cache of the Movies & TV app: Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then go to My games & apps > See all > Apps. Highlight the Movies & TV app, press the Menu button on your controller, and select Manage app > Clear saved data.
  
• Uninstall and reinstall the Movies & TV app: Go to My games & apps > See all > Apps. Highlight the Movies & TV app, press the Menu button on your controller, and select Uninstall. Then, go to the Microsoft Store and search for the Movies & TV app. Install the app and try to watch your rented movie again.
  

If none of these steps work, you can contact Xbox support for further assistance. As for the refund, you can request a refund for your rental by going to account.microsoft.com > Payment & billing > Order history. Find the rental and select Request a refund.

Hi,

there are several apps available that offer the possibility to view movies and or tv series.

Be aware that most apps require Xbox Live Gold to use them and/or even seperate subscriptions.

For example Netflix offers movies and tv series, but does require a seperate Netflix subscription and gold subscription.
