    Movies search screen keyboard not showing up help


    Hi,

    When I go into the movies and tv search screen and select x the keyboard doesn't come up.

    When I try to go into the system screen to manage the app the screen is black only showing one item at a time.

    Please help!

    Keyboard not displaying on screen

    Just set up my first Xbox (Elite) and encountering problems where the keyboard doesn't appear on screen, meaning I don't know what I'm typing.

    Lets say I'm trying to type in a search box, theres no keyboard on screen . It did appear when setting up the Xbox, but not any more.

    Is this a faulty Xbox?

    I am having troubles with the on-screen keyboard not showing up in game for chat, entering someone's gamertag, etc. this only became an issue after the latest update to the console. I have done everything I can think of, to no success. Please help!

    Hey idoleyes! That's no good at all. Can you start out by pressing and holding the power button on the Xbox One for 10 seconds (or until the Xbox One powers down all the way). This will clear the system cache on the console.

    Give that a shot and let us know where you're at so we can get this sorted! Movies search screen keyboard not showing up help :)

    The keyboard shows up automatically when you select the address bar to type in the web address or selecting a search bar like bing or google, or any other box that wants you to type in it. If the keyboard does not show up, you could try connecting a keyboard
    to the Xbox and use that instead.

    - Then, please open Minecraft in window mode (not fullscreen) and see if you can play it using the on-screen keyboard.

    This will let us know if this is an issue with Minecraft not recognizing keyboard inputs or if this is an issue with your particular keyboard (maybe the driver).

    I don't know how, but Minecraft automatically got fixed without censoring keyboard. Thanks for answering my question.
