Movies Anywhere

Movies Anywhere launched today. I was able to link all my digital movies from all over the place and watch them right on my xbox. I'm so glad they integrated this! Plus if you sign up you get a free X-Men movie.

Disney Movies Anywhere

Hello!.

My movies from Disney Movies Anywhere are all in the app on the xbox 360. However, not all of them show up in the Movies & TV section of the Xbox One. I have contacted Disney and they see all of the movies. I have looked on the 360 and it shows all of
the movies. I have contacted Microsoft and they can not see any of the movies according to the lady on the phone. The Xbox One can find most of the movies, but not the newest 5 that I have added.

Steps tried.

- power cycle

- remove profile and reinstall

- remove Movies & TV app and reinstall

- sign out of profile and sign back in

- watch movies on 360 in hopes that they would populate into Xbox One

- get angry and wonder why each company is pointing fingers at the other.....

Any suggestions on how to remedy the situation?

I think Xbox TV and Film is at risk.

I actually want all digital. I started with Xbox One. Was shocked to hear they weren’t supporting Movies Anywhere.

 

Yeah it is a very nice app to have and the sing in bonus is a good one too!!

 

I was really happy to see that when I linked my Movies Anywhere account in the Movies & TV app on my PC that it also linked on my Xbox. It's so nice to have all of my digital movies in one place rather than spread out across a bunch of different platforms.

 

This was a feature many xbox users were looking for since xbox one was announced

 

I agree, nice addition, great to have almost all your movies in one spot!

 

A great addition, sadly it's US only :'(

 

It is good to see this appearing, but sadly it is only for US folks.

Hopefully it will expand out of the US and we can all start to enjoy a unified digital library. Though that isn't down to Microsoft.

 

This made me look into it. THat's pretty nice I can look at both Amazon and Vudu in one place...

 

Hopefully it comes to other regions soon!

I wasn't aware that you can get a free X-Men movie for signing up. Thanks for the info Banky71.

 

I like the app, but my UHD videos didn't transfer over from VUDU. Does it not offer UHD streaming yet? Also, where do you get to pick the XMen movie at?

 

You don't get to pick. Everyone gets the same movie. It just showed up on my movie list.
