    how can I download the movies and tv shows I had bought on the Movies & TV app to a hard drive? I now live in the country and have to use satellite internet and the streaming constantly loads and eats data.

    Although Xbox Ideas is a great place to post suggestions, the Movies & TV app isn't an Xbox thing, it is a global Microsoft app which has a separate team to deliver these and it won't be the Xbox team who does that.

    Anyone else think they should make movies and tv bought or rented on xbox live available to watch on all phones and tablets (aka apple products)?

    Years ago you could log in online to watch movies you purchased. Now with movies anywhere that’s seems to be a solution but it’s also a problem. Why can’t I watch my purchases?

    Digital movies purchased form the Microsoft store are only streamed to your console, there is no download option so you require a connection to view them.

    On a Windows 10 PC you can use the Movies and TV app to download them for offline viewing.

    There is something that you can use to provide the developers and engineers that work on the system with future ideas you deem would be able to enhance your experiencing on Xbox.

    This is referred to as the
    Xbox Idea Hub     and its something Xbox Insiders are familiar when provide feedback on new features.

    If the idea already exits you can provide an "Upvote" to attract more attention to this idea. If not you can create your own and rally others to your cause.
