Movies and TV in movies and tv app keep freezing

My
movies and TV (xbox one s) keep freezing intermittently. I’ve gone through the standard trouble shooting (restarted/tested router and internet, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, power cycle, restart, uninstall and reinstall my

live account) and I’m still having the same issue.

there is a Status Alert affecting Live TV; Groove or Movies & TV video store,
including browsing, purchasing, downloading, and streaming

Unfortunately this did not help, nothing has thus far. Keep your suggestions coming, guys! I’m definitely disappointed in microsoft right now. I’ve spent hundreds on movies that I can’t even watch :/

Make sure you have a stable and secure internet connection when downloading or streaming live tv from your xbox as if it cuts out, so does your signal. Try using an ethernet cable instead of wireless as it normally gives a better and more constant signal
without the risk of it dropping out.

I’m having the same issue. All my movies are freezing up. Ive already cleared system cache, factory reset, remove profile, deleted movies and tv app, and hard reset. To no avail none of these worked. I have 4,300.00 dollars worth of movies that i cant
watch!
