Movies and tv app not working. Cant watch purchased or rent movies.

Everything else works. Games, other apps, online gaming. Instead of fixing the problem,Xbox support signed me up ,without asking, for some program. Not sure I want to invest in a Xbox One, but I definitely want to watch the movies I've already bought.
I've deleted , reinstalled, cleared, rolled back, removed. .. And all that good stuff. Anyone out there have the solution?

Movies & TV App Malfunction

So my Movies & TV app will no load my purchased movies and will not allow me to browse movies to buy/rent. It is acting as if I am offline; however, my other apps work just fine. Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm a gold member - how can I rent movies?

To Rent movies using the Xbox Video app you don't need to have a Gold Membership. As Smwutches states, you will need to use MS points or a Credit Card to rent movies or purchase movies and TV episodes.

Hey, NotableSleet0! Sorry to see any issues with Movies & TV! The program you are talking about is the Preview Program, and it appears that you've only been invited (you aren't actually in this program, so it wouldn't affect your issue in general).

We are unable to assist with any issues playing movies or TV shows that you purchased through Movies & TV here on the Xbox Support Forums. However, I highly suggest making a post on
their Answers forum. They should be able to help you out further. Be sure to note that you are on Xbox 360 when you post, and any error codes that you're receiving. Thanks for understanding!

You can watch purchased or rented movies through microsoft tv and movies on your console.

If your using Xbox movie app:

Note Unlike a movie that you buy, you must view a movie that you rent on the device you rented it for (for example, the Xbox 360 console, a computer, or a Windows Phone)

However I know Microsoft allowes you watch rented movies via a app called Movie Anywhere. If you purchase a movie on your account and if was produce by a movie studio they team up with>>>you can watch your rented movies there. I used this app in the past
