Movie play too dark on screen

    Movie play too dark on screen


    When watching movies on XBox One (in my case, the new XBox One X), the screen seems a bit too dark, compared to Blu Ray and 4k Blu Ray played on ordinary players than on XBox One X. But on XBox One X, this appears a bit too dark...

    There must be a possibility to fix this, so that movies display the same balanced light and dark level on the screen on XBox One X, as it does on ordinary players.

    Could this be done? Would really appreciate if it could be done, hopefully at the same time fixing the innaccurate RGB colors that appear when playing 4k HDR, which would mean using the new video codecs (forgot what it's called, but the other one than RGB).

    Xbox Video too dark

    Recently I've download a few movies from Xbox Video, but have found the movies too dark. Brave, The Dark Knight and last night Total Recall (2012)



    But these movies have been way too dark, watching the Dark Knight I had to adjust my brightness settings just to get through it. Gaming on my console is perfect. Never have a problem. Same goes with other devices I've got connect to my TV and use the same
    settings.



    Anyone else noticed this with movies downloaded recently from Xbox Video?

    Vudu and Amazon Video having problems since the New Xbox One Update. "Judder" or "Stutter" like effect when videos are playing on these two apps.

    When i'm watching a movie on my VUDU app it'll freeze every few minutes but the audio will keep playing. It'll start playing again like normal but in a minute or so it'll happen again. Also, the screen will go dark like the brightness has been turned down.
    The movie and audio keeps playing but it's hard to watch because the screen is so dark. PLease fix!

    Xbox Video movies come in way too dark.

    +1 Same issue here. I am not running HDMI as I have an older xbox, DVDs, movie TRAILERS, TV, everything else plays fine. The Xbox Video Stream is way too dark. Makes horror movies or movies shot in the dark, un-watchable.

    Anyone have suggestions? Is the the composite connections? Why do the trailers look fine and bright and not the stream?

    BTW-it is streaming in full HD

    Well multiple sources are stating that The Dark Knight Rises movie will be filmed by some media and critics later on today for the 1st ever screen of the movie in it's complete stage from the editing room. One of the writers for the L.A. times says he has

    I have it too! I thought it was normal. It's kind of annoying when your playing in the dark or watching a movie but I don't know how or if you even can turn the lights off or if they are supposed to be red! Anyone else have a clue?
