Discus and support Movie language in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I bought a movie in the German store. It says it is also in English, but there is no option to change the language!!!!!     I bought a movie in the German store. It says it is also in English, but there is no option to change the language!!!!! I would like to watch the movie in English! Do not offer the film in English and then not let you choose between
    languages! Awful store!

    Problem with language in movies in Video App for Windows 8

    Hi, I have a problem with the languages that are available for the movies that might be bought or rent from the "Video App for Windows 8". I'm Italian with an Italian account, but I am native German speaking. Therefore I prefer watching videos in German
    or English, but I cannot choose the language for any movies to my preferred one. Every movie is listed with an italian desription and therefore italian language. Is there no possibility to watch the movies in my preferred language? Thank You

    Hello,

    The console's language/locale settings don't have anything to do with the language you get the movie in. The movie language is dependent on what country your Xbox LIVE account is actually registered under.

    If you're in a country that supports multiple languages they should be selectable if you follow the directions
    here.

    Which country do you live in and which country is your gamertag set for? Usually the language of a game/movie will default to the main language of the region.
