Moved to a new iPad. Where are my Minecraft worlds, previously saved on Xbox Live?

I don't know if it matters, but just to be sure, is the same Microsoft Account (Xbox Live Account) used to sign into Minecraft?

If you sign in with your same exact Microsoft account, it should retrieve all of your account information including your games and game progress/saves. It should automatically sync it to your new device when you load the game up. Are you sure you're signed
in with the same account that you were using on your previous device?

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your Minecraft world.

Sometimes after Title Updates where new Biomes are introduced, it can wipe old saves to blank seeds when it repopulates the chunks.

You can try moving the world to a
USB Drive or trying to play it while disconnected from Xbox Live but if that world was wiped we may not be able to save the data.

There is another method to transfer your world, however, it is applicable for IOS devices only by doing the steps below. See the steps below for the Apple iPad:

Open the Files app on the old iPad.

Under Browse, tap On My iPad.

Tap Minecraft.

Tap the Games folder.

Tap the com.mojang folder.

Locate the file named minecraftWorlds. This has all your worlds in it.

Press and hold to open the menu.

Tap Save to Files.

Locate your iCloud drive and save the world file to the iCloud Drive folders where you want to store it.

Click Save.

thank you for your advice. We have just found out that we had not logged into our microsoft account on the ipad minecraft 😞

so we have now started fresh with a new world in minecraft on the ipad. However, i still cannot access this new world on the nintendo switch minecraft
