...even though there exist versions for the new country's

Full story:

Years ago I had to move to SEA and I brought my old original white xbox 360. A few years later, i got hit with the RROD and made the jump to the 360 S. However, being in the SEA region, my new 360 S was an Asian region xbox as oppose to my original US xbox.
Left the system with my parents and it was eventually put into storage.

Found it today and was trying to play redownload some of the old games I own. However, I'm getting a download error around the 80% mark. The file exist in my hdd (and is shown to be the complete file size of the game) but the icon has been replaced with
an exclamation mark.

Ran it through support, and they determined that the cause was my (FULLY DIGITAL) games were from the US region and that my 360 is an Asian region one. Hence the region lock. The only solution they gave me was to either get a US xbox or buy disc versions
of those games. Even though there exist Asian (Singapore) versions of those games for the Games On Demand store.

Kinda bummed about it right now. I'm not asking for anything extra, I just want to be able to play the games I own.

Change Country

What if you have moved to a different country, i believe its unfair that i lose all my Gamerscore, all my downloaded content, arcade games and all that. It cant be that hard to change account regions or moved all my files to another account? Why should i
lose everything just because i moved to Britain. i cant use my American card anymore since o got a new one in Britain which means i cant buy points, my Paypal wont work either so im forced to make a new account. Because i want to get the Egyptian civilization
pack for Aoe. I cant even download most things anymore due to my region being in American and cant download if your outside that region.

Region conflicts

I have moved countries. Why aren't i allowed to change regions? i can't add new microsoft vouchers from my new country and I am unable to purchase from my old country. Any advise please?? If i create a new account do I lose all my points and levels in games
etc?

If you go into your settings and go to region you can select to change your region do this and change it to the region your game copy is then try to install hopefully this fixes the problem and then you can change your region back after installation. Also
it may help to clear your save file cash in your storage in the settings menu this helps fixes this error sometime and clears out damaged and unused files from your system. hope this helped for further trouble shooting contact xbox @ xbox.com/support thank

The only reason that I had to replace my Xbox 360 controllers was due to the stick getting stuck (moving in a direction without me touching anything) LOL

Believe or not my Xbox 360 slim laser was reading my discs wrong and it was scratching them. It was reading them like DVDs because when I put in Fallout New Vegas (also had installed on Memory) it start it up with the DVDs features. I was not moving the
console, tripping it, or causing any vibrations what so every if your wondering if it was my own fault. One manager from the Microsoft Company said that if the Xbox reads a game disc like a DVD, it will cause scratches because when in DVD mode the disc is
scanned closer. Microsoft has kindly agreed though to replace any games made by them due to a laser problem on the Xbox, which I'm glad considering only Gears of War 2 and Halo Reach were the only ones damaged badly.

Your not the only one experiencing problems downloading, after 5 hours I only achieved 9% of COD. This is a kick in the teeth from Microsoft as I am awaiting a replacement Xbox One due to defective disc drive and now I can't download games either.

If Microsoft are moving away from gaming, their must be a better way of communicating it to customers.

OK he forgot his password and his email he had was old and he couldn't log into it anymore. He went and tried to make a new password and the email is not going to his in box. We think he may have spelled the email wrong on his account creation and now he
can't log into it on the computer, and if his file is corrupted he will not be able to get a new download due to the account t info being wrong it's like he is locked out of his own account.
