    this account once was based in the uk so it uses The Uk Euro not the Us Dollar so i win try using a $25 or $50 dollar gift code it says that my account can not redeem the money on the card. so i am wondering what i can do to fix this i have money on this
    account so i hope there is a currency converter or something of the lines

    Hi Smokey! Sometimes this can be caused by a mismatch between your account region and your physical region. Have you perhaps moved between countries recently?

    No currency cards are region specific you can use the code but you won't be able to use it on a UK billing account

    Only on us accounts

    Currency does not transfer over between regions even with the migration tool

    Because currency cards are region specific

    The us balance will not add to your UK balance

    So unless you migrate your account to the us you cannot use the us balance

    But if you don't actually live in the us you will have problems downloading a lot of content

    You would need to use a UK currency card to spend on a uk account

    It is not recommended that you buy disks or cards not from your actual region

    Membership cards and currency cards are region locked to the regions they are sold in

    Also disks sometimes have region requirements

    I lived in the USA for a while and bought an Xbox 360. I have now relocated to South Africa. How do I change my region on the console to play SOuth African gamed.

    Support does not charge money.

    Also, if you moved to another country but you still have valid payment methods in the USA, there´s no need to change anything in your profile.

    But, if you move to another country and no longer have access to payments methods with billing address in the USA you will have to change the payment and billing info on your account.

    If you are looking to buy pre-paid cards for membership or Microsoft Points, try www.amazon.com. Remember to buy the cards that says Digital Delivery, as these are the ones that you received your code via e-mail.
