Move XBOX Live Account from one email address to another....The Saga Continues

I've recently had the pleasure of trying to move my gamer profile from one email address to another using the now infamous temporary third account and wait 30 days procedure. In a nutshell, I'm still having major problems with this. Here's a link to my original

This is what I've done so far:

account1: gmail account with mistakenly created profile (HumerousBump1)

account2: hotmail account with my actual gamer profile

account3: temporary outlook account

1. Mistakenly associated an XBOX live profile with my primary email address: account1

2. create temp account3 (DONE)

3. Wait 30 days from 9/11/2014 (DONE)

4. Logon to xbox 360 as account1 and move gamertag to account3 (DONE)

5. Logon to xbox 360 as account2 and move gamertag to account1

When I logon to the XBOX as account2 and try and move the profile to account1 (step 4 above). I get the following error:

"The Microsoft account already has an Xbox membership" error code is 80154013.

Also, when I logon to xbox.com using either account1 or account3, both are attached to the same gamer profile.

Is this a timing issue? Will I have to wait another 30 days for Microsoft to actually remove the HumerousBump1 profile from account1?

Anyone any ideas?

How to Change your Xbox LIVE account information

Overview

It is possible to change information associated with your Xbox LIVE account like your name, address, phone number or email address.

Note: You cannot change the country that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you have moved to another country and you would like to access Xbox LIVE from there, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on Xbox.com

1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on your console.

1) Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

In case you want to change the billing name on your Xbox LIVE account, go to Xbox.com

Like x24hrs2livex mentions, you can not merge accounts, you will have to start everything from scratch.

Gamerscore, saved games, gamertag, purchases can not be moved.

If your goal was to move that xbox live account connected to your fathers email address to your own address, you should have used the steps on this link:

support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account these steps will move a xbox live account from one email (Microsoft Account) to another.

You can still do this, but you will first need to move the newly created xbox live account to another Microsoft Account to free up your email address. (See the Notes part on that link)

 

If it shows both accounts attached to the same profile that means that the changes are in process indeed. It transfers all the data and details between accounts. So my bet currently would be just waiting. If wont be settled after that 30 day awaiting period,
contact support. But atm you can only wait.
