Move Xbox gametag/profile to daughter

I'm trying to move the xbox profile my daughter has been using under my email address to her own. I read about creating an alias, but if I select an existing account it says the account already exists, why even have an option for adding an existing email
address. I was considering creating an all new alias, but will this change anything or just the name that is shown?

I would like to keep my account for email, I have been using the account since nearly the release of hotmail and move the xbox gametag/profile/content to my daughters account since she is using that. Can I do this?

Hi, you can
change the email associated withan Xbox account by adding a new email to the account and then removing the old one. Note that an existing @outlook/@live/@hotmailaccount is considered an existing Microsoft account with Microsoft/Xbox information associated
with it and therefore can't be used, even if that account has never used Xbox Live features before. You could create a new @outlook/@live account in the process of setting up the new email, or use another email from another provider that is not already linked
as an alias to a different Microsoft account. Hope this helps!

In order for this to work correctly you would need to first download your daughters XBOX 360 account onto the XBOX 360 that purchased the Family Gold Pack. You can learn about how to download the profile
here. Once the profile has been downloaded to the main XBOX 360 console please follow the instructions
here in order to be able to add your daughters account into the Family Gold Pack. After that process has been completed
your daughter is free to move her console to whichever XBOX 360 she would like and go to friends houses to download her profile and play to her hearts content.

It's possible to remove this gametag from my Microsoft's account, so I can move, via console, another gametag to this Microsoft's account?

There is no way to move her profile to a new profile. You can
change or add a new email address to the account.

Note If you choose to remove an alias that uses a Microsoft domain such as @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or @live.com, that alias will be completely deleted and will not be available to sign in to any
Microsoft services.

Hi am in much the same boat, second xbox one, same house single router. Trying to create new microsoft accont / gametag for daughter when adding in details it requests an email phone number etc. The result has been that it has been automatically linking
to my original xbox one profile and it shuts down which ever console unit is not being changed. Please help its driving me insane and the kids are on melt-down.
