    Move with XBOX One - Region migration


    I moved from France to the UK 12 Months ago - Up-dated my address and payment method but never managed to migrate the region in the account migration page.

    Every time I get a French message telling me there is a problem

    "Un problème se pose actuellement pour le déplacement de votre compte. Consultez la Page de prise en charge de changement de région pour vérifier que vous pouvez effectuer
    cette opération et réessayez plus ***."

    I checked the French Microsoft support who told me to wait 3 Months, which I did. But the same. I checked with the UK support, which did not understand also what could be wrong - no outstanding payment - no issue with the account

    It is extremely weird because I can use all my games but I cannot use the XBOX Store for Movies and TV films - It is sending me back to the French store and then blocking because conflicting with my UK location (of course)

    I am using my Playstation 4 for all multimedia services and XBOX only for Games - no other choice since a year now. I wonder if there is any geo - blocking here or if I have to create a complete new account and lose my old one because I moved to the
    UK

    Nope you should know better

    Region locked content does not move between regions

    Nor does it work with the migration tool you forfeit any licenses that are

    If yoy move between regions constantly maybe youbshould think about not using the migration tool

    The tool is too expencive to be used for temporary moves as you forfeit any region locked content with every use

    Maybe you should trynand redownload the content with a netherland account while actuallyin netherlands

    International laws still apply to you

    A more practical solution wiuldnt be a migration

    Create two accounts for both regions then you will not have tobworry about forfeiting any content

    This item isn't available in your region.

    Better off to create an new account you will most likely forfeit any region locked content and region migrations are oonly one time

    Temporary move then your Better off with a Temporary account or order your disks Online

    What's you have is split billing

    Have billing support look at that for you not live support or worst case tier 2

    When you don't migrate and you have past currency but you change the xbox region you create conflicting information

    That has to be fixed by billing support

    Thanks. It seems indeed to be a conflicting thing that occurred when I plugged my console after the move.

    But I didnt use the region migration tool, just moved my region on my console, not my account....

    Or are those two one and the same?

    You mean you moved ?

    You cannot download region locked content if your physical region and account region no longer are the same

    As you cannot migrate nor does move regions on the fly

    If it is still in your purchase history then there was no migration

    As they delete the purchase history
