Move Subscriptions from Adult to Childs account

We have a new XBOX one in the house, i've setup myself as the adult and setup an account for my son with the child restrictions.

Problem is that i've added the free live subscrition and ea access to my account which seems to mean he cannot use it. Is there a solution to this?

Also if i want to add games or subscriptions to my sons account without having to go through the process of changing the restrictions to allow it, make the purchases, then change the restrictions back again? I.e. is there a way to purchase under the child
account and enter the adult password in the appropriate place?

Change to a child account

My son is using his Xbox One logged in with my MS adult account.

I want him to start using it with his MS child account.

Can I move his current gamertag to his child account?

Can I move the Xbox Gold Live subscription so it works with his child account, or is this just associated with the device?

You are more than welcome

Users are free to promote their 'child' accounts to an 'adult' account, once they reach the adult age set in their region. You should not need to move anything over from one account to another

Unfortunately Xbox Support can not migrate an EA Access subscription, but they can move the gold subscription to another account for you by canceling it, sending you the gold membership as a redeem token, then just sign into the account you want to redeem
it on, then redeem it. The reason why they can't move the EA access subscription is because it a third party subscription. It also depends on the length of the subscription as well. So you will have to go ahead and reach out to Xbox Official support at
support.xbox.com/contact-us for this. You can also link the agent to this thread if you choose the chat option.

As for purchasing restrictions, yes that is possible. Check out the passkey benefits on Xbox One here:

I have exactly the same issue. Created the adult account, and the child account underneath, but the packs including the vbucks etc are on the adult account. The X-Box is for the child, so why would the adult want the packs?

There must be a way to disable the claim and move it to a different account??

As the family sharing option on the Xbox one is a little bit different to the option on the 360 it is definitely recommended the way you describe it. Set up the adult account and get it a gold subscription. Then set up the child account(s) and add them
to the family and all the family associated accounts are able to use the gold subscription as well as all the digital purchases of the parent/adult account. And of course you can also add another parent/adult account, too.

Only getting a gold subscription for the child account only works for the specific child account and will not be valid for the adult or other family associated accounts.
