Move Old XBOX profile to new phone

Hi!

There is a lot about gamertags and profiles here, but the problem is as follows:

I had a Nokia with a game on it on the xbox account.

I broke the phone, it won't turn on.

So I bought the same Nokia 925 again, but got assigned automatically a new xbox account and can't change it or migrate it no matter how i tried.

Can I have my old profile on my new phone?

If you mean, "Can I move my Xbox Live profile from my old Xbox to my new Xbox," then the answer to that is, yes. You can move your profile to a usb drive, or recover your profile on your new console.

 

old profile problem with windows 7 phone and 360

My problem is as follows.

Ive had a 360 for about 4 years but it has never been connected to live, I also have a windows 7 phone that is live. The problem is that the 360 went live today and it wont let me access live with the 360 profile, but i downloaded my phone live profile
of the same gamertag that does let me go live but will not let me move the old data/gamer acheivment points to the new from phone so i can then delete the old profile. Please can someone work out how i transfer all the old stuff to the new.

 

The Gamertag is assigned to the Microsoft Account (MSA) you used to set up the device. As long as you set up the phone using the same MSA, it will pull in the correct Gamertag. If you used a different MSA this time, you will need to factory reset the phone
and re-do the initial setup in order to change the default MSA on the phone.

(By setting up the phone with an MSA, I am talking about the first MSA you enter, as this becomes the phone's default account, and all other MSAs are just email/calendar accounts.)
