    Move Offline Profile to Xbox Live Profile?


    My Microsoft Account is used for all things Microsoft (OneDrive, Office, Skype) Both of my primary email accounts are registered/linked.

    I recently acquired a refurbished Xbox360. I played almost an entire game (83% complete) with an offline profile because I did not have a wireless adapter. Now, that I have the adapter and am able to connect to Xbox Live... how can I move this offline profile
    into my account generated Xbox Live Account? The offline profile and the Xbox Live have the same handle. It seems like I should be able to move a device profile into the Xbox Live profile.

    Merging offline accounts with LIVE profiles

    Afraid not; you can turn an offline profile into an online profile, but you
    can't merge an offline profile into an existing online profile.



    I would, however, suggest he call an Xbox Live agent about cancelling the subscription on the current LIVE GOLD account and then move the subscription to the offline profile after making that a LIVE profile.

    Sign up to live during game

    Signed into your offline profile, if you choose the option to Join Xbox LIVE, you can attach an unused email to your profile, and upgrade it to a LIVE account. This would be the only way to use your offline profile's progress on a LIVE account, as there
    is no way to move the save progress to another profile.

    If you used the login information for the account you are posting from to sign into your account on the Xbox 360 then you won't need to change anything if you add Gold to your account. However if the achievements were earned under a different Gamertag (the
    email address would be different from the one you used to log in here), then unfortunately there is no way to link the two accounts. The only way to have the achievements on this profile would be to re-earn them.

    As I understand, if you play offline and then recover or move your profile BEFORE connecting to LIVE, you will lose offline progress. If you connected to LIVE before recovering, it would have already noted these achievements. Did you brother recover or move
