  1. Move Minecraft Dungeons data to new hard drive?

I recently added a SSD to my computer while retaining the standard HD so I could transfer files as needed. The new one is where my OS is, and Minecraft Dungeons is no longer showing any of my save info, for obvious reasons. Is there a way to transfer all the save data from my old drive?

My attempt was to copy the Local folder and place it in the same directory on the new drive, but it made no change. Is everything lost?

    Thanks for any insight.

    :)

Move Minecraft Dungeons data to new hard drive?

Hi and thanks for reaching Microsoft Xbox gamer's community. My name is Josef.

Hope you're doing great today Bearded

Well, transferring progress can work sometimes and sometimes not.
    You could try this:

"Minecraft Dungeons stores save files and character data in the following location on your PC:

    C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Lovika_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Local\Dungeons
If you head to this location, you'll notice one or more folders that appear to be a series of random numbers. These are the save folders for your characters (one for each). In order to transfer your save file, you need to copy the entirety of the contents and then paste it in the exact same location on your destination PC. However, there are two major reasons this may not work:

Your save data is encrypted. In order to prevent external tampering, Minecraft Dungeons encrypts this save data. Whenever you transfer it to another PC, there's a chance the new save data just won't work because of this.
You may not see the save data. While you should be able to find the numbered folders notating your various characters, the contents may not be visible or accessible to you (even if "Show hidden items" is enabled)."

If you want, here's the full article in case you want to try the other solution:

    Any way to transfer data?

Greetings, TheStealthMiner. Actually, you can move over your stuff to the new hard drive by connecting up the new hard drive and moving over your data. You shouldn't need to use a transfer cable for this case. :)

buying a new xbox but using old harddrive?

No. Those older hard drives are not compatible with the new Slim systems. If you buy one with a hard drive you can use the data transfer cable to move all of his information from the 120 to the new hard drive.

    Move hard drive data

What you are trying to do isnt possible. Once you use the transfer cable the old HDD will be wiped clean. I would suggest using a usb flash drive to keep the content you want handy, that way you can switch back and forth easily
